Join us for a cozy and creative Chunky Blanket Workshop where you’ll learn how to make your own chunky knit blanket using finger knitting—no needles required! This beginner-friendly class will guide you step-by-step through the process, making it easy and fun for anyone to participate, even if you’ve never knitted before.

All supplies are included, and you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade blanket you created yourself. Yarn must be chosen in advance, and sizes may vary slightly due to knitting tension.

Choose between a large blanket (approx. 37 x 60) or a lap size blanket (approx. 34 x 47). If you are unable to attend, a tutorial video and supplies will be provided. Spots are limited, so be sure to reserve your place early.

Step aboard the Legion Tribute Train for a memorable 3.5-hour excursion honoring the service and contributions of our local veterans. This family-friendly ride offers scenic views of the Wakaw countryside, engaging presentations, and a unique tribute experience on the rails.

Itinerary:
12:00 – Little Big Town and Saloon open

1:30 – Guests gather for Legion Tribute announcements in Little Big Town

2:00 – Excursion Train departs Wakaw

5:00 – Excursion Train returns to Wakaw (end of excursion)

Veterans: $15 (ID required), fare donated to the Wheatland Express Museum
